Who is Hiei From Yu Yu Hakusho?
Hiei is the fictional character of the Yu Yu Hakusho. Hiei is renowned as a member of the team Urameshi in the dark tournament of the demon world.
First, he was introduced in the series as a villain with the stone heart. Eventually, his character was portrayed as a hero and main protagonist of the series when he ended joining the team of Yusuke Urameshi.

Hiei- Birth, Age, Family Background, Childhood
He was born to the ice maiden, Korime (also known as Hina) in the ice isolationist Koorime community. However, he was born as a male fire demon as her mother interacted with a fire demon outside the community. Due to this reason, he was outcasted from the community leading him to be thrown from the mountain.
However, he survived the fall and got raised among the group of the bandits. Raised in such a situation, soon he adopted the environment and struggle hard for his existence. Meanwhile, he gained the status of A-Class demon status.
Know About Hiei’s sister
As time passed, he came across, Rui (Hina’s best friend). At the time, he learned who he is? and why did he end being motherless. Then it was revealed that the elders of the Koorime community forced her mom to do so. After throwing him off the mountain, she took her life.
Also, he came to know that he was a twin sister named Yukina. Besides that, he learned that Yukina left the community to search for him. He is a serious brother who loves his sister immensely but has never revealed his identity as a brother to her.

Hiei- Fighting Techniques & Abilities
Fighting Techniques
– Dragon Of The Darkness Flame- Using his demonic energy, he is able to summon the flames from the demon world creating them in the form of the dragon. However, while using this fighting technique, the user should be able to absorb the flames.
He used the technique for the first time during the dark tournament that damaged his hand. Later, he mastered the technique.
– Dragon Absorption- The technique allows him to turn himself into a dragon himself. For that, he has to consume his own dragon of the Darkness Flame. That allows him to gain a massive boost in power, speed, and defense.
– Sword of the Darkness Flame- This sword technique allows him to channel the flames of the Dragon to form into the hilt of the broken sword.
Abilities
His abilities include enhanced strength, super speed, master swordsman, and teleportation.
Hiei’s Third Eye
He has the 3rd eye on his forehead. The name of his eye is Jagan Eye. The eye was surgically implanted by the s-class demon, Shigure. The eye helps him to control the mind of the weaker demons and humans.
The Jagan also allows him to transform into his Jaganshi form.

He has black eyes with black hair. However, the colors of his eyes change in his Jaganshi form. When he was first introduced in the series, he was just 4 feet and 10 inches. However, at the end of the series, his height increased to 5 feet and 3 inches.
